The China Construction Units Association (CCUA) was established in November 1982 with the approval of the former State Administration of Building Materials Industry. It is a national first-grade association registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs and operates under the industry supervision of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.

        As a voluntary nationwide industrial social organization, the CCUA’s membership primarily comprises enterprises involved in the production of masonry concrete products—such as wall blocks, paving bricks, curbstones, segments, slope protection bricks, exterior wall panels, landscape products, pipe trenches, and others—used in municipal, construction, transportation, and water conservancy projects. The association also includes relevant design, construction, operation and maintenance entities, equipment manufacturers, suppliers of raw and auxiliary  materials, as well as scientific research institutions.
